Although Mike Watson plays an Indonesian flue on Hunting Buffalo the music is all American from the traditional Native American songs, "Fire In The Sky" and "Hunting Buffalo" to Irish, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Gospel, and Funk. He presents a mini tour through the history of American music.

The only other instruments on the CD are percussion. Besides a variety of drums I also play the Rain Stick, a Thunder Machine, and a Songpod.
