So Low John Shepherd hll-1012 John Shepherd is a legendary Blues guitarist from Wynne, Arkansas. His technical skills are extraordinary. The only guitarist I can compare him to is Roy Buchanan. "So Low" was recorded at HairyLarryLand in Jonesboro, Arkansas, in early 2009. The album features John playing solo on electric guitar and singing. John wrote all the songs. These are all live takes. John usually plays with a band so this was a reach for him. I think you will agree that he was up to the task. HairyLarryLand CDs are shipped in envelopes without artwork.
